Mercury in vaccines replaced with something even more toxic

The short, eye-opening eBook linked below is titled Aluminum in Vaccines -- a Neurological Gamble, by Neil Miller, director of the Thinktwice Global Vaccine Institute. It documents the hazards associated with aluminum-laden vaccines. Children are receiving high concentrations of aluminum in their shots. This well-documented neurotoxin may be more dangerous than mercury.

Vaccines containing high concentrations of neurotoxic aluminum were added to the child immunization schedule when several vaccines containing mercury were removed. Two-month old babies now receive 1,225 mcg of aluminum from their vaccines -- 50 times higher than safety levels! Although the FDA, CDC and World Health Organization are aware of the dangers, they expect parents to play Russian roulette with their children.

We DO have rights in how we decide to educate our children

School District Tells Mother She “Has No Say” in Her Son’s Education
Some school officials just don’t get it.

Due to difficult family circumstances, a Texas mother withdrew her son from public school and sent him to live with his grandparents in New Mexico to be homeschooled. Following proper procedure, the mother notified the school that her son was being withdrawn.

Not wanting to do anything wrong, the mother also continued communication with the school to ensure that she was fulfilling all requirements she thought existed. However, it was the school district that was wrong!

The superintendent’s secretary told the new homeschool mom that the superintendent would be the one to decide how her son was educated and that he would not “approve” homeschooling until he had met with the mother and seen the curriculum. Furthermore, the secretary stated that the mother “has no say” in her child’s education and that she was expected to continue sending him to public school unless she had the superintendent’s approval to teach him at home.

Unaware that she has the right to make educational decisions for her son, the mother fearfully prepared to comply.

Fortunately, she decided to contact HSLDA for advice. Senior Counsel Chris Klicka and his legal assistant explained that not only does the mother have the right to decide how her son is educated, but the Texas superintendent no longer has authority over the teenager because he no longer resides in the state! They explained that furthermore, even if her son had remained in Texas, the law does not require her to obtain approval to homeschool there.

Klicka wrote a letter to the superintendent explaining Texas law and included a summary of U.S. Supreme Court Decisions upholding a parent's right to direct her child's education and upbringing (See Decisions of the United States Supreme Court Upholding Parental Rights as “Fundamental”. He also warned the superintendent against contacting the mother about her son’s school attendance.

The family has not heard back from the district and the teenager is now happily being homeschooled in New Mexico.

10 years ago this month

It was 10 years ago this week that I made the move to Tennessee from Michigan. I was a single 24 year old who had never lived on my own before. My parents helped me pack up all my stuff; we loaded up a trailer, the back of my dad's truck, and my car. And made the 600 mile drive from Allendale to Nashville. I had $1200 in the bank, and a huge amount of faith that Nashville is where I needed to be. I had no idea what I would do for work to support myself, I had no friends or family nearby, yet I had a peace about moving here. I just felt like I was supposed to be here and that God would work things out. And He sure has!!!

It is still amazing to me to reflect back to that time 10 years ago having no idea what God had in store for me. Only to see now how He guided my path the entire time. Within about 6 months after moving here, God was really working on my heart to come to Him in repentance and to live my life for Him. Sure, I was raised in church all my life, but that does not make one a Christian. I had never truly repented of my sins before the Lord, and had never turned from living a life that was displeasing to God. My heart was stirred and it was during the prayer times with a friend that I truly gave my life to the Lord. And I have not been the same since. I thank the Lord for His saving grace and mercy.

Within a couple of months of giving my life to the Lord, I met Ron. We hit it off right from the start and became instant friends. We talked on the phone and hung out all the time. We decided to start dating each other just a couple months later. And just 3 short months after we started dating we were engaged. Our wedding was exactly one year from the weekend we met, Labor Day weekend. And here we are 8 years later living in our first home for 5 years now, with our almost 19 month old son, and expecting our 2nd baby in May. I would say it is pretty clear that I was meant to come to Nashville! I had no idea all the things God had in store for me here, and I feel so blessed to see where He has brought me these last 10 years. All glory to Him for all the things He has done in our lives.

Quote and some thoughts

I came across this quote in an e-mail someone sent me:

Live in such a way that those who know you but do not know God, will come to know God because they knew you.

This has me thinking very deeply about my own life and how I live it, not only in front of others, but also in private. Do I really live this out loud for all to see? Do I talk about God and His word with others? Do I show the love and mercy of Jesus to others? Do I live like I am a follower of Jesus Christ?

I am glad I found this quote, it is forcing me to really examine my heart and my life, and to ask the Lord to show me the areas where I need to change, and to be a bolder witness for Him.

Before I was a Mom

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom .

Devotional for today

Our Hope for Years to Come

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.
Psalm 28:7

Recommended Reading
Psalm 28:6-9

This verse provides a happy formula for the New Year. Notice the progression.

First, we realize that the Lord is our strength and shield. No matter what unfolds from day to day or from month to month, He’ll give us sufficient strength, and His presence will surround us as a shield.

Second, our hearts can fully trust Him. We can relax, rest, and lean on Him, knowing He is fully able to do all He has promised.

Third, as we recognize who He is and trust Him, we are helped. There’s no sense of panic as it relates to the uncertain future. He helps us in everything at every time. The past, the present, and the future are His.

Fourth, our heart can therefore rejoice. Today is a day for a joyful and glad attitude. And that leads to a song of praise. We can have a hymn in our hearts today—like this one: “O God our Help in ages past, our hope for years to come; be Thou our Guide while life shall last, and our eternal home.”

Under the shadow of Thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure; sufficient is Thine arm alone, and our defense is sure.
Isaac Watts
