EcoMom product review {and a giveaway!}

I am SUPER excited to be doing my first product review on my blog!  I discovered EcoMom on my friend Michelle's blog as she did a review and giveaway too.  I contacted  EcoMom about doing a review on my blog and she sent the products immediately and I received them two days later! She is awesome!!  So let me start with my review, and then read on for the giveaway, as well as a discount code for YOU, my readers, to use on your purchase!

I received a few flavors of the Plum Organics baby food for Elise to try.  I love, love, love the pouch packaging!  It is so convenient and less messy than jars. And that makes it much easier to only squeeze out the amount you need at a time so you are wasting less.  Then you can refrigerate the rest for 24 hours.  Definitely two thumbs up from this mama!  Here are some photos of Elise trying out the food.

I also received some of the Revolution Foods squeezable Fruit Mash Ups and Grammy Sammy and Jammy Sammy bars.  The squeezable fruit is pureed fruit in a pouch with no sweeteners or added ingredients.  Just fruit!  Ronnie liked those, he slurped them right down.  Once again, the pouch packaging is just awesome!  He also enjoyed the bars, they are similar to a cereal bar, but a smaller size.  Perfect for a little snack on the go.

Plum Organics and Revolution Foods offer a wide variety of products from high chair to the lunch box, so be sure and check out their site.

And now for the giveaway part!!  EcoMom is giving away $20 worth of Plum Organics/or Revolution Foods to one lucky winner!  All you have to do to be entered is simply visit their site and leave me a comment telling me which food item you think your kids would like.  And here are some ways to get extra entries, be sure and leave a separate comment for each one:

Family bike ride

This was Elise's first time in the bike trailer. And she fell right to sleep!  So it is safe to say she likes it, which is great as it will allow us to have more family bike rides together!

My baby girl is ONE today!!!

Happy birthday sweetheart!  Mama loves you more than you'll ever know.  Your little smile blesses my heart.  I am so humbled that God gave you to me and has allowed me to be your mommy.  It is my prayer to raise you in the fear and admonition of the Lord so that at a tender age, your heart will be on fire for Jesus.  Please forgive me when I fail you, because I do, and I will.  But I will always love you and will always be here for you.  And I pray that you will learn to lean on Jesus as He will never fail you.

Nashville flood

Some of you may have heard about the flooding here in Nashville almost two weeks ago. We were okay out here, but many areas in Nashville, and counties throughout the state, had serious damage. The last I heard 21 people died as a result of the flooding. This is the worst flooding we've seen here in 80 years. I watched the TV in disbelief when they showed footage of the Opryland Hotel under 10 feet of water. As well as The Grand Old Opry and Opry Mills mall. Places I have been to over and over many times through the years. Tennessee is called the Volunteer State, and we lived up to our name immediately following this disaster. People helped get their neighbors out to safety, and volunteer efforts continue to go on daily. And it will until everything is cleaned up and restored. One way you can help, and get a fun shirt too, is to purchase a shirt from this site. Proceeds go to help flood victims. This is a much better way to give than through the Red Cross where we aren't sure exactly which place the money will go to.

Declutter swap meet. You need to do one!!

Last week I held a "declutter swap meet" at my house. I had read a blog post about having a declutter and purge party, and I thought it was a great idea. So I put it on Facebook and sent a message to several other local women to see if there was any interest. We ended up with 5 women and 12 kids! (for the record, one woman only brought 1 of her 6 kids, so there would've been more!) I meant to take photos of everything, but didn't even think about it until we had everything almost completely packed up. What a bummer! We all had a great time and we all were able to get rid of lots of items, and take some nice things home too. Everything that was left over went to a local church who is taking the items to the flood victims here in Nashville.  Below are a couple of the nice toys that Ronnie got, he has been enjoying them! I think we will definitely do this again next year!

My little man!

This is Ronnie's infamous "cheesey" smile. It cracks us up every time!

Working on his little schoolhouse project at Lowe's with daddy. They have been enjoying their father and son time on Saturday mornings.

Trying on hats with daddy at Target. Being cheesey of course!

First time we had the sprinkler out this year, he LOVED it!!

Now there is a "normal" smile from him!  I cannot believe he turns 3 years old next month!  Wow!  My little man is getting so big!!  It almost makes me tear up just thinking about it. I sure love my babies!!

My little sweetheart

Elise is at that fun age (11 months) where she is so social and interactive with us now.  Here she is doing her fun new thing of kicking her feet out of excitement.

She likes to smile for the camera. :)

Once again smiling for the camera, and holding her new doll that Mamaw and Paps sent her (Ron's parents).

Hamming it up and kicking her feet again! LOL!  That baby girl just melts my heart!  I love her more than words can express.  Of course I love her big brother too, I'll do a post about him later this week. :)

Made-by-me Monday!

I saw this post idea on my friend Jen's blog, so I thought I should start doing it too!  So without further ado, here are some of the items I've made in the last week.
